You like Iron Man 3 better than Iron Man (the first)?
She's not the only one. Of course, I didn't think the first one was the best thing since sliced bread, and RDJ's performance in 3 dialed the smugness down from 11 to maybe a 6, which made Tony a lot easier to sympathize with.
I need to see it again, but I'm pretty sure I like IM3 better than the first, because of the themes of dealing with your personal demons, and learning that when you take away your armor and crutches, you can STILL deal with those demons.
Plus, giant bunny.
It is fun to watch Tony remember he was a badass before the armor and still is. The montage in the hardward store is delightful.
These are the reasons that IM3 is my favorite of the three.

I have a soft spot in my cold, dark heart for IM2, too, but I recognize that it's objectively not very good.
Addled Trevor is terrific--especially since you're not sure just how addled he is.

Just having the GotG soundtrack on my phone makes me happy, even though I haven't begun to listen to it yet.
Yeah, I downloaded it and listened to it once--it is happy-making.
I said the other night that I think I already have half the soundtrack in my iTunes, and Tim said, "I think we played half the soundtrack at our wedding!" (I think the Jackson 5 song was actually "ABC", though.)
