What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Kris Straub theorizes that Drax heard the prisoners call Gamora a whore and took it literally, assuming that was what she was, whatever it meant.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That would make sense, PC. I have to wonder, though, if that means some earlier lines were cut that would have made Drax's calling her that make more sense if they had been left in.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That does make more sense, especially given her non-reaction to it. That was about the only thing that stood out to bother me.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

GotG was fun. Not the ZOMG BEST MARVEL MOVIE EVAH!111! that some people hailed it as, but a lot of fun.

I now know I need some sort of spoiler warning for tragic backstory involving maternal deathbed scenes in hospitals. I'm assuming it was mildly sad for people who don't have my baggage.

Jilli, I wept openly, and I don't even have that particular set of luggage.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It was super sad, and that is not my particular baggage.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I cry at anything, but let's just say I would have liked to know as well since it really, really wasn't the best choice for a long-distance movie date when both of us had gone through that too young.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I thought Karen Gillan did a great job as Nebula, personally.

Phew. I am back on the internet, having finally seen GotG!

Re: rankings...

1. CATWS
2. CATFA

3. IM3
4. GotG (depending on mood, could swap out with the above)
5. Avengers
6. IM
7. IM2
8. Thor

I haven't seen Thor 2, and I only have the novelization of the Hulk one (don't ask, because I can't explain.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You like Iron Man 3 better than Iron Man (the first)?

How is that even possible in our space time continuum?

Stop defying the laws of physics with your whackadoodle taste.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It is possible!

If they could retroactively insert Don Cheadle into Iron Man, though, it'd be totally different. Well, maybe.

But I think that the subject matter of IM3, and the idea that we create our own demons, is just really interesting.
