Snowpiercer question:
What was with the
little notes of red paper with one word messages? They didn't seem to convey anything vital (water, blood, train) that could bring hope of tipping the scales in the caboose folk's favour.
I can't remember what the first one said, either, which may shed light on my question -or not.
Juliebird, the first one was the name of the guy who could open the gates.
I think they were interpreted by the sage of the back end to mean stuff to move things along.
Brazil was a great movie, but I did have to fight the urge to jump off a tall building for a few days after seeing it. Not in a good place emotionally right now. How likely is Snowpiercer to encourage similar feelings?
Hey, if you look at it the right way, Brazil has a happy ending. He's safe with the girl far away from the city. Sorta.
In his mind as he dies. Which is a good ending but...
Gar, I would say it is NOT a good place for your emotional state, I don't think, knowing the things about which you are passionate.
Kelly Thompson, the author I've been pimping with a little success ( tommyrot "Sunnydale Press" Jul 16, 2014 12:42:38 pm PDT ) is having her awesome first book The Girl Who Would be King made into a movie:

I'm just about done with The Girl Who Would Be King on Kindle, and it is GREAT. I just hope they get the casting right, because that's how this movie will live or die.
