I'm immediately turned off by the found footage vibe, but that is all.
It also just suddenly hit me that if you really want an emotional connection with an alien creature, best stick to practical effects 100%, at least with the alien character. But I'm old school like that. Give me my Jim Henson Creature Shop, gorramit (I don't know what the Farscape swear for that is)!
yeah, I think I'm over "found footage" genre. It was fun the first 3 times.

Just saw a 17-minute preview of Guardians of the Galaxy in IMAX 3-D with Calli and my other neighbors. That definitely had the intended effect: I can't wait!
The preview says "ET meets Wall-E" which is pretty much what the poster looks like..
Armageddon is nigh: folks on Tumblr have discovered the The Apple. Tho' I cannot disagree with the observation that Bibi sports the fashion taste of a lot of Tumblr posters.
That... might actually be enough to get me to look at Tumblr again.
