Vonnie, how did you like Under the Skin ?
It was hella weird and unnerving. I don't know what to think of it, even weeks afterward. I found it frustrating and largely impenetrable, but there were images from that movie that lingered on and burrowed under my skin, I admit.
ETA: HA! at the totally unintentional (I swear) pun!
Okay, I'll wait on that one (I spoiled myself with the wiki page and the ending didn't suit my personal criteria, to be specific:
I don't care for stories where the main character dies
)
Finally watching Thor 2, and, man, I was all excited to finally get to see Frigga be a badass, and
then I remembered Odin making a point about them all be mortal, and
aw man.
EEEEEEE!
(It's a youtube message from Guillermo del Toro about a Pacific Rim animated series (!) and a SEQUEL to the movie (!!))
Also this Buzzfeed article with more detail says we are probably gonna see Mako and Raleigh again! And the scientists, too. WOOT!
I just want more Ron Perlman.
And the Russians. (NO THEY DID NOT DIE I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT.)
I am making a sadface at the fact that Snowpiercer only opened in limited release today and I have no idea when I'll get to see it.
Finally saw Captain America Winter Soldier in the theatre. That was a wonderful movie. I'm glad I knew Sitwell went bad, because I hate getting gut punches from characters I like. I kept going "Why, Jasper! Why! How could you do this to Phil!"
Poor Steve and Peggy's wandering memory.
I thought someone said there was a scene of Bucky sitting in a room somewhere? Though him staring at the display in the Smithsonian was cool. (And the kid staring at Steve.)
Fifteen minutes into Furious 6, or whatever the hell F&F6 is called, and damn, but I didn't recognize Mia (Jordana Brewster) because the actress has turned into a skeleton, I was actually quite confused about Brian's shift in love interests. In profile she's alright, but damn, full portrait and she's a wraith and looks like she's on the kind side of fifty with hair dye and face lifts. When it seems like a blink ago she was playing highschoolers. /shallow
