Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I finally saw Captain America 2. LOVED it. The only thing I didn't love was that it wasn't really Old Lady Councilwoman kicking butt. I will finish reading the white font later.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

More from Variety.

At the press conference, he said that authorities in the late in 1999 or early in 2000 were made aware of his claims against Singer.

Asked why he decided to come forward, Egan said, “I have a story I believe should be known and should be out there.”

His attorney said that he believes there were eight to 10 men involved in what he described as a “ring” of sexual abuse at the Encino estate. He believes that there were five to six victims.

His attorney declined to name the three to four additional defendants to be named in suits but said that “there are other Hollywood types.”

Wonder if any of those other Hollywood types will be recognizable names.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well, that does sound entirely credible. Certainly that aspect of Hollywood has long been rumored and tied to things like John Travolta first coming to Hollywood, and even the reason Clark Gable had Cukor taken off Gone With the Wind (because a young Gable had blown Cukor to get an early break).

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The Other Woman, a (bad) chick flick with 3 female leads, incredibly fails to pass the Bechdel Test.
