I WAS GONNA GO TONIGHT BUT VERMIN INTERFERED! WOES.
Saw it. Loved it.
I think the thing that shocked/upset me most was Sitwell being a Hydra agent. Also, they did a good job of making me feel very sorry for Bucky while still making the Winter Soldier seem very, very dangerous. I LOVED that we got flashbacks to the 1940s, complete with Skinny!Steve.
I thought Evans and Johanssen had excellent chemistry - they played really well off each other. I also thought Evans and Mackie had great chemistry, and I will be VERY DISAPPOINTED if the fic writers do not take immediate and copious advantage of this.
I didn't have your surprise reaction, but the second part of your whitefont, definitely, so very much.
Is it just me, or were you mildly disappointed when Jenny Agutter's character pulled off the mask? I wanted Jenny Agutter to have been kicking that much ass.
Not just you on the mild disappointment. That was a lovely moment, even after I figured out what must be going on.
I just got back from CA:WS. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I want Falcon's flight apparatus and skill set--his flight scenes were some of my favorites. All in all, it was exactly what I was hoping for.
