A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I saw The Grand Budapest Hotel this weekend and LOVED it. Glorious to look at and the nested narratives are exciting and fun.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't actually believe that Charlie Brown and Snoopy exist in three dimensions.

It reminds me of when Homer Simpson ended up in our three-dimensional universe.

That was freaky, but he ended up in a naughty bakery so it had a happy ending.

If you're one of the few people left on Earth who isn't yet spoiled for The Winter Soldier, tonight's special on ABC spills the beans.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

DO NOT WANT

I am surprised to find that I don't hate it.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I just saw a trailer for Noah. It made me tilt my head so hard, I think I may have pulled something in my neck. Who thought that was a good idea?
