I think this is true of many of the Shakespeare plays. I get annoyed every time I see a line from a Shakespearean fool or villain used as an inspirational saying.

I just actually shuddered. At least my version had Billy Campbell as King Leontes (plus 2 or 3 TV "that guys") to keep things interesting.
