So he managed another 23 years of life and work than he might have. That's good.
Still sad, of course, but these kind of thoughts make me feel better.
I'm with -t. Bless him for the well-fought battle.
It makes me sad to think that anything, or anyone could have toppled him after so long clean.
I sometimes wonder about a plumber in my neighborhood who has 30 years clean but EVERY day talks about how he's just one fuck up away from oblivion. He proudly states that he has never, ever taken a vacation that was not to an NA convention.
I tended to think he just has a flair for the dramatic. I will, from this point forward, take him more seriously.
In a completely selfish reaction - I don't think he was done filming "Mockingjay ptII".
Not according to IMDb, no. I wonder what they'll do. Hasn't been a good few months for actors not dying mid-movie.
That's so terrible. His poor kids.
I think my favorite role of his may have been in Flawless. Rest in peace, my fellow in the struggle.
The Big Lebowski is what I always think of. Kind of a small part, I guess, but a perfect performance.
My first thought was
Boogie Nights
because he was so incredibly vulnerable in that movie.
I can't believe he's dead.
Vidding: I wish I could make a Raylan Givens one to "Where Have All The Cowboys Gone", for one. I was sure there was one, but I didn't find it.
Poor PSH. I might not have always remembered your name, but I remembered your work a lot. I wish talent could be enough to make people happy and healthy, clearly it isn't.
