"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I figure AE must have an extra boat payment he needs to make or something because there is no reason for him to have made this movie otherwise.

There is many a performance that just makes me nod and say "Gotta pay the mortgage. Kids need braces."

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I like that Famke Janssen was completely upfront about taking the role in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters to pay her mortgage.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, that looks lovely! Apparently they used the original negatives. About time too. I've been showing a crap copy - the only one I could find - for years.

The press release says the restoration will be shown on German TV on 12th February, but strangely enough doesn't mention a DVD or Blu-Ray release date, beyond saying there will be one.

I finally saw American Hustle last night. I found it really engaging. If the hair dressers who created Rosenfeld's incredible comb-over don't win an Oscar for special effects, it will be a travesty. Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams were great. Renner deployed his puppy-dog eye thing to good effect.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I don't suppose it will be about people buying scores of booster packs in search of the one card that will complete their deck or arguing about whether or not the card their opponent just played was made illegal by the latest rules revision.

Or about 10-year-old card brokers who rip open a pack and dicker their cards to the people standing around till they've parlayed their mediocre rare and uncommons into a 300% increase on investment.

That kid is either a millionaire or in prison by now. Or both.
