And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Would Idris Elba as Destruction be too on the nose, as well?

Who cares more Idris Elba yes yes yes!

I just realized James Earl Jones should be Destiny.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

No Death?

Death is really hard to cast! Jennifer Lawrence could do a decent job, but she's EVERYWHERE these days, so I don't know.

Despair is the other tricky one. I'm drawing a complete blank for her.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Okay - in my fancast, Rinko Kikuchi [link] as Death. She can do the whimsical, the compassionate, and the "don't fuck with me" all at once.

Despair - if Rebel Wilson can actually do ennui, she could be great. She's got a great off-kilter delivery as it is.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Rinko Kikuchi as Death.

Ooooh. That would work really well.

Chris Hemsworth was suggested for Destruction, but that's a bit on the nose

But it would be great.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I kind of envision someone like Bryn Terfel.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I kind of envision someone like Bryn Terfel.

That would be cool casting.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Would there be singing?

No, he just visually seems like the right type to me. As much as I love the Hems, I think he's too young. Destruction should have some miles on him.
