I did like the funny bits, and I thought Hiddleston and Elba were the best part of the movie.

Most of the comedy bits had me rolling my eyes, but that may have to do with my tolerance for Darcy/Kat Dennings falling from slight in the first film to nonexistent in this one. Was I the only one hoping "Mew-mew's" flight path would take it through her at some point ?

I am warily hopeful about it. The few images I've seen LOOK gorgeous. I'm just hoping they don't give her a tragic backstory to make her "more relatable". She's an evil fairy sorceress, keep her that way! It doesn't lessen her appeal!
