wrt Loki and his issues he's a frost giant, right? but there's a scene where he turns into a baby in front of Odin's eyes, I assumed, as a sort of "love me and take me home gesture". I did always assume that Loki preferred Frigga, both because of her magic and his natural magic talent, but also because of temperament. But I don't understand how he did the magic baby trick if the Jotun don't naturally all have magic. He'd never met Frigga at that point.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Ha ha ha, this can be nothing but good news

I don't know when I've ever felt such trepidation.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

You say that a lot. I do not think it means what you think it means.

We learned that in the first movie I think.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't realize until I started looking around last night that the Collector from the credits scene ties into the Guardians of the Galaxy -- I didn't know that was connected to the Avengers! My coworker was like, You've got a lot to learn....

I always feel like a superhero fraud. I love superheroes and their stories but I don't actually like the comic book format. So I always feel like I have a lot to learn.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Clearly, I'm not up on my lore.

le nubian, did you see the first Thor? Because Loki finds out about his true parentage and it's a Big Deal. And that's what Loki is referring to in The Dark World when he says "I am Loki, of Jotunheim" -- Jotunheim is the world of the frost giants.

Oh yeah, me too, absolutely.
