Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Go ahead and see Ender's Game--OSC won't profit. I find that weird. Why not go ahead and make the man whose motives you despise box office poison, if you're the boycotting type? It doesn't have to be this paycheque you impact--why not all of them from here on in?

Also--if everyone who was going to boycott the movie boycotts the book instead--how will that have more impact than the original plan? Were people going to skip the movie to cut his profits, but still buy the book?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just watched Cabin In The Woods. How did I manage to avoid that casting spoiler?! That was an excellent fun movie! I do think I probably missed a reference or three just because I don't watch many horror flicks.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I avoided it too!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cabin in the Woods was very fun, but I didn't find it particularly scary at all.

I wasn't in it for scary.

Gravity was my kind of scary. That was freaking terrifying!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Winter Soldier spoiler.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That looks so good.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
