A bucket of blood is a lot less red than you think it is.
I was kind of tickled by Tower Heist, but maybe I just needed a laugh really badly that week. That happens sometimes.
I read an interview where Sissy said she was so into the role that they could have used some real kind of blood (they used the fake karo stuff) and she wouldn't have minded, and in the course of filming thought the karo was probably worse because it was so horrifically sticky.
ETA: about the original movie.
Wouldn't have been a trip if they'd gotten Sissy to play her own mom in the remake?
Karo syrup really is horrifically sticky, though. Much harder to get out of your hair than blood.
I imagine it smells a lot better than blood does after a bit, though.
The Karo syrup stuff attracts fruit flys like a mofo
Would you know where to get a bucket of blood for a practical joke?
I am so glad the rest of you answered this, but yes, I know where.
The Karo syrup fake blood is a pain to clean up. The red dyes in it stain EVERYTHING.
I thought they covered how to get a bucket of blood in the first movie, or am I misremembering?
Also, as someone who has had more than her fair share of blood exposure lately, I'd take the fake karo sticky stuff over the real deal any day.
