Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm actually starting to hate the sight of Johnny Depp. I never thought that would happen.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

He's basically playing Jack Sparrow over and over at this point.

Always Anti-fascist!

That last Pirates thing was a TOTAL waste of time. I actually felt *used* by it. So of course, there'll be another one.

It made like a billion dollars worldwide, there was never any question about there being another sequel. Or dozen of them. I suspect Disney has a contract somewhere with Johnny Depp's name signed in his own blood.

He's turning into Nicholas Cage. I used to love Cage, but then...

At least Cage managed Adaptation in there among the dreck, where he was really good again (and I did enjoy his Adam West impression in Kick Ass).

And I still like his early forays into action - The Rock and Con Air. It's just...he kept going back to a well that had dried up.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

At least Nic Cage owed a shitton of cash to the IRS. What’s Depp’s excuse?

True that. No argument.

He was GREAT in Donnie Brosco and he needs to do something like that again.

Desperately.

So, that Thor trailer... did anyone else see Rory Williams in the middle of it all?

Or am I hallucinating?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If we start whitefonting trailers, there's no way out of the sea of redaction.
