Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Did someone get paid to come up with ridiculous fucking axes to create useless "infographics"?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The number 29.4 is only a little bit bigger than the number 27.7 which is associated with the box office of a different movie everyone hated. Want to know more?

Who could resist a hook like that?

Also, let's not bother adjusting for inflation and ticket prices at all while we're at it.

Why you gotta complicate numbers, PC? Who do you hate?

Hey. New board.

That is a bad article. I just read the box office mojo article where they cribbed all their comparison choices too.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

What do you all think of the boycott of the Orson Scott Card movie coming out in November?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Wow, did Buzzfeed buy Business Insider and nobody noticed?

What do you all think of the boycott of the Orson Scott Card movie coming out in November?

I can't imagine enough people will actually boycott it to make a difference.

As far as I regard the boycott--he doesn't get any more of my money. I don't care about a "difference" or "enough people". Just where my dosh goes. And it's not to him, no matter how much I liked that story.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Holy crap I am watching Skyfall and it has Komodo dragons! Somewhat dubiously rendered, but still.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

As far as I regard the boycott--he doesn't get any more of my money.

That was basically my recommendation to my (lesbian) massage therapist when we were talking media and she was saying how much she was enjoying the book. She had no idea about OSC, and I was like, "I've heard later books aren't as good, but also -- don't give that guy your money, because he hates you."
