Kate Winslet has a nice sense of comedy too, but she just made "The Reader" which looks like the cinematic equivalent of brussels sprouts.
mmm brussel sprouts - especially roasted with olive oil, garlic and black pepper. Which I guess really does not say anything about "The Reader".
I ditto that message, though.
Robin, nope, I haven't seen The Assassination of, etc. But it's on my list!
Am I missing something in
Repo: The Genetic Opera?
The performances are excellent, Paris Hilton is sure a surprise! But... I dunno, maybe I'm just not an opera fan.
Someone with a talent for entertainment decides to Get Serious. And Stays Serious long after he should stop.
But the problem isn't necessarily with him going serious. I mean - The Grinch; Stretch Armstrong - these are not serious movies (though making a film of the Grinch when we've got a 100% perfect Chuck Jones film is a SERIOUS mistake).
Marking that for watching at the end of the day--I am sooo looking forward to seeing it!!
That's coming out in August, right?
Ghostbusters:
still funny.
Ghostbusters: still funny.
"Is this true?"
"Yes, it's true. This man has no dick."
"He's a sailor, he's in town for the weekend. We get this guy laid, we got no problem."
