except for Nick Jonas as Marius

Hopelessly miscast and outclassed. What were they thinking? Did he win a mail-in coupon contest or something?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

except for Nick Jonas as Marius.

Yeah, how the hell did he sneak in there?

He was overshadowed by the reunion of the first cast and the 4 Valjean's singing Bring him Home and the ensemble singing One More Day, possibly my favorite song in the whole show.

He's actually played it on Broadway, but I call Stunt-Casting!

I am sooo glad that Taylor Swift was not cast in the movie!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

West End, not Broadway, and just for a few weeks in the summer, so definitely stunt casting. He had been in the regular cast on Broadway several years earlier, playing Gavroche.

I was just reading the other day that she was supposed to play Eponine. I'm so glad that didn't happen, especially since the movie Eponine was amazing. I was listening to the Broadway CD the other day, and I think I like the movie Eponine better.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Is it the London version that has a terrible Eponine?

Edit: No, it must be the Broadway cast, because I remember Terrence Mann as Javert. I do not like that Eponine.

Samantha Barks is in the film and she was also in the 25th Anniversary concert. Her version of On My Own is just as heartbreaking as Hathaway's I Dreamed a Dream. those were the two highest points in the film for me.

Damnit, now I'm listening to clips, and I can't remember what recording we had.

Edit: Definitely Broadway. And the actress playing Eponine won a Tony, so I'm clearly in the minority there. But she's much less vocally pleasing to me, compared with Marius and Cosette.

Surely it only took the casting agents seeing her "acting" in Valentine's Day to put the kibosh on that idea? She was out-performed by Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, George Lopez, most of the inanimate objects, and Eric Dane in that movie!

I might be getting a little obsessed with Les Miz...I just watched the 10th Anniversary special. Nice to hear Wilkinson in full voice and a much better Marius.

Also, Lea Solanga scored the biggest coup. Lucky girl she got to sing both Eponine and Fantine, at least in concert.
