I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

We did get this one, which I thought looked interesting.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I guess I will be seeing The Hobbit-I at some point, so I'd appreciate if someone would list any scenes that involve the Jilly-fonts appearences.

I'm pretty sure it was my father reading The Hobbit out loud to us when we were kids that triggered my intense phobia about them and I would like to see everything but them.

WTF? Are Zombies the new sparkley vampires?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The Walking Dead has like 11 million weekly viewers, so I think filmmakers are jumping on the zombie train as the next big thing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm pretty sure zombies have been the next big thing for a while now.

Warm Bodies looks pretty good, though.

I'm pretty sure zombies have been the next big thing for a while now.

I have had a "zombies are the new black" t-shirt (that Katie_M had made) since about 2004.

The Walking Dead started in 2003, and The Zombie Survival Guide came out in 2004, as did the Dawn of the Dead remake. World War Z came out in 2006.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

quester,

in answer to your question, there is very little spider involvement in the first movie. What you see are legs crawling over a home structure and the back of large spiders as they run away in the distance.

specifically, the scene(s) in question involve the brown wizard. So when you see him trying to tend to a sick hedgehog. Avert your eyes for about 5-10 minutes.

move out and draw fire

I bet The Hobbit is the first film where the Director's Cut is a ton shorter. For DVD, you'll be able to get just The Hobbit, with all the Rise of the Dark parts cut out, and then a separate DVD set that is the Appendices/Silmarillion stuff.

If not officially, then probably someone will make it.

Thrive to spite them

Will and I are going to go see The Hobbit on Thursday and have decided on 3D. It's showing 3D with higher frame rate and I guess the slower frame rate.

I haven't been following the frame rate issue, how does it change things?
