Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, when is Beethoven neutral anything?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Heh. When the title of the review is Bourne Legacy WTF?, that's not a good sign.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, the last Bourne film was really up its own rectum. They need to not make homework mandatory. Not only was I headachey as shit, I was unsure how it interleaved with the previous one.

So...they're doing that again, but with fewer familiar cues? Oh, okay then.

Thrive to spite them

Will and I watched Bourne Legacy tonight. I liked it. There was less shaky cam stuff, although it was there. But I don't think during the fights. Jeremy Renner is shirtless a decent amount of time.

I liked the movie over all. It wasn't ground breaking in any way but it was an enjoyable summer movie. I hope it does well enough that there's another with Jeremy Renner.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Haven't seen Legacy yet, but that review got one thing darned right: the guys sent after Bourne were played by magnetic actors. Clive, Urban, the dude who played Celeborn. Those guys made me want to know their stories.

Everyone was so stoic and sour-faced. I didn't imagine they had stories.

The guy they sent this time was supposed to be the new version of Treadstone and without empathy (I think that's what Norton's character said) and so I got the impression he wasn't supposed to have any kind of backstory. Just be a killer through training and modifications.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I like the latest Bourne well enough, but I though it took too long to get going. Still, I enjoyed watching Renner.
