No, dcp. Nothing extra. Just...time to exhale, and make sure your mascara is okay.
Okay, the really clever people who are up in arms about Superman having a beard in the trailer--have you been assuming Kryptonian hair just
stops
growing like that, right into a cute hairstyle with a curl?
The ones up in arms about a kid running around with a cape--I guess it could be true that this is a kid growing up in a world where there have never been capes. That can totally happen, right? Maybe no heroes, and no other reasons for capes either. Also, this kid is definitely Clark Kent.
The only whine I get is the contrails (although wikipedia does say they can be generated without exhaust, I don't know if Supes has the right surface physics). The others just seem like looking for issues in 90s of footage.
Steph, I pretty much agree with your whole post.
Seconded. I totally believed
it too for all the reasons you mentioned.
Also, ita !,
SERIOUSLY THAT KISS FOR FUCK'S SAKE EVERY SECOND COUNTS HERE SELINA.
P-C, that is EXACTLY my reaction to
that kiss!!!
Like, are you people NUTS?!?
I’m with Jessica; the NYC visuals made it too real for me. I wish I could have enjoyed it as much as you all did.
Tom, a large part of why I was horrified by the
scenes of parts of Gotham and the bridges being blown up
is precisely because it was so obviously NYC.
The building they used for the Wayne Enterprises exterior was the building I was working in on 9/11.
I'm lucky that I don't have sense of the general geography of New York, so as a whole--basically, if I don't see a big landmark like Central Park (and there are few for me) I just think "Island city...like NY or Mtl..."

Daaaaaang. To say that's unnerving is a vast understatement.
The ferry boats in the last film were worse; that’s how I got home on that day, since the trains weren’t running and the bridges and tunnels were closed.
Good lord. How did Avengers strike you, given that New York was pretty torn up? Bane's calculated terrorism seems (to me, the midwesterner) very different from Holy Shit Aliens Are Here.
