Spockkake.

Oh, as usual, dear.

Well, now you know one who's not.

Two.

In fact, I own 3, count them, Three, Highlander movies and several seasons of the tv series.

Don't hate me.

Unpossible, as there was only ONE movie.

Firmly living in denial of anything related to a so-called "quickening".

Unpossible, as there was only ONE movie.

Exactly.

After all, there can be only one.

ION, finally saw TROPIC THUNDER tonight, and OMG! There were parts of that movie that were so funny I hurt myself laughing (starting before the opening credits).

I think the bit that got me most was Ben Stiller playing with Steve Coogan's head. So wrong. Just so wrong. Yet hilarious.

RDJ getting really, truly nominated (deservedly so) for that is almost as funny as the movie itself, but, freakazoid space-clammer that he is, I really think Tom Cruise deserved it more. The ONLY reason I would have recognized him, if I hadn't known he was in it going in, was the voice.

Oh, I feel ya, but the fact that there can be only one...and yet there are MORE, simply speaks to the awesomeness that is that universe. You have to look really hard, past the dreadfulness, but the awesomeness? It's in there.

I'm just hardcore like that.

I love the Prophesy movie(s) too...and Dracula 2000, so take all that for what it's worth.

Didn't it have a spinoff with the woman with the short blonde hair?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Well, now you know one who's not.
Make that a third. I liked the TV show better.

brillig

The part of the alleged second movie that I love best is McCloud and Ramierez waking up in the infirmary and counting bullet holes. It's a scene of joy for me and I'd probably rent a copy, burn off just that bit, and return the rest of teh movie unwatched.

Thrive to spite them

The spinoff featured Amanda, who was a thief and who had been involved with McLeod on and off again in the original series. I'm not actually sure what the spin off was about since I never saw it. But she and a cop started fighting crime (I think).
