I don't understand not loving Hot Fuzz - I love it THAT MUCH.
Oh dog so much this!!! And while I had problems with how they introduced his Scotty in Trek, it wasn't the performance that bothered me. Put that one on JJ who deserves it for some of his other bone-headed resets going on in the movie. I'm glad Pegg didn't do a total Doohan revamp.
For some reason, having Bones be so spot on was more appropriate (bless Karl Urban).
Maybe I'll watch Hot Fuzz right now. Day improver!
Also, i love PAUL. But I somehow I'd missed Seth Rogen in every other thing he's ever done, so having his voice in there didn't throw me out of the movie in any way. It felt somewhat of a piece with SPACED, though a bit cruder.

So Ultimate Drew is rewriting World War Z. I think this is the third re-write after they started shooting.

I just read a summary of a report on vulture.com that said that Brad Pitt and the director were not on speaking terms.
