So Red Letter Media (of the awesome Star Wars prequel video rants) did a brief NSFW video on Prometheus. It did make me laugh out loud, but I really want a full treatment by them. Methinks their video might be 3 hours in length for this one movie.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Anton Yelchin cast in Jim Jarmusch's vampire movie.
Man, that project just keeps getting more attractive. And it's not like I needed a hard sell beyond Jarmusch + vampire.

Some choice quotes:
David is bored. No one has ever been as bored as David is bored, right now, for two years and counting....Boredom will now be measured in millidavids, and one millidavid is the most bored you have ever been in your entire life, like watching paint dry all day in a doctor's waiting room while on hold with your cable company.
FIFIELD: How do you even know that bullshit is an "invitation"? Maybe this guy is just like, HEY, LOOK! Balls.
Most everything else I want to quote is spoilery. It's pretty great.

Same for me. I'm already at the grabbyhands JUST GIVE ME THE MOVIE stage, and I don't think it's started filming yet.
Given how much I love Dead Man (I missed his samurai movie so far, sadly) I eagerly look forward to Jarmusch doing vampires. Oh HELL YEAH!
Given that he knows him personally, I hope against hope he'll get Nick Cave in the movie somehow.
One would hope that "Hey, wanna act alongside Tilda Swinton?" would suffice to convince any actors Jarmusch wants to sign on.

Ghost Dog is just amazing, for me. Forrest Whitaker is note-perfect.
