It comes to my attention that some of you may not be aware of the National Theatre Live broadcast to cinemas (list here) of the Frankenstein that sold out and won all the awards.
Tonight I saw Benedict Cumberbatch as the Creature and Jonny Lee Miller as Frankenstein. Tomorrow (at 7 pm local time), they'll be in the reverse roles. According to Tumblr, some theaters got the other casting tonight: hell if I know.
I will say, and I cannot emphasize this enough: it is a phenomenal production and if you possibly can go, you should.
Which is Cast 1 and which is Cast 2?
I've not seen them listed that way. Tomorrow was listed as "reverse" here, which is Miller as the Creature. I would assume that that's Cast 2.
For those people who hadn't like Mark Ruffalo in much before "The Avengers", I do recommend "You Can Count On Me" and "The Brothers Bloom." Thing is, TBB comes with Adrien Brody who I'm finding I dislike far far more than most other actors. He hasn't reached Tom Cruise levels of disdain, but it isn't for lack of trying on his part.
I loved
The Brothers Bloom.
And, I love
You Can Count On Me.
Of course, that also has the virtue of Laura Linney.
Ahhh, I'm having a pleasant Tales of the City flashback. Probably should go back and rewatch that first series.
Rewatch Colin's bit too!
(and that's not a multiple entendre, let's be clear)
Rewatch Colin's bit too!
I'm sure it's more than a bit.

Oh.
Colin was fun in that, but nothing could make up for the loss of Original!Mouse and Original!Mona.
Okay, this is awesome: a lengthy discussion of the never-made Black Widow origin screenplay.
