I'm horrible at returning things
Don't you have my
30 Rock
? (This is not a guilt thing. Return at your leisure. Sometimes I just need to remind myself where things are.)
It's better if I do it on my own dime, even if it takes years.
I think Seanan had my
Wonderfalls
DVDs for a couple years. Also, one of my friends borrowed my VCR in...2008? 2009?
I kept
The Long Way Round
for three years, I think, from my friends J & J. They went from being childless to having a toddler. And my friend Bob has had my
Kitchen Confidential
DVDs for I don't even know how long.
This reminds me I have a book of Teppy's she lent me ... four years ago? Yikes.
Yes, P-C, yes, I do. You should come hang out some time and get them back (and maybe borrow something of ours to even things out (and also because you make Matilda laugh like a drain, and I swear sometime I want to see her with you and Emmett together, because her head might explode from sheer giddy joy)).
JZ,
can't you borrow these from the library?
I have, uh, daunting late fees I need to clear away first (see above, re: rotten at returning things).
This reminds me I have a book of Teppy's she lent me ... four years ago? Yikes.
I totally forgot about that! You coulda had yourself a free book if you had kept quiet!
I will send it back, I promise! But ... maybe I'll read it again first.

I'm rotten at returning things
This is why we need tubes! Pop the thing in the pneumatic tube, speak your destination clearly, and push the button: thhhookk!. Bingo! No guilt.
Why don't we have tubes?
