Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Love it. I know damned little about archery, but the attention to detail reminds me of Ratatouille and how cooks were pointing out that everyone in the kitchen had scars and burns on their hands.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh man, now I kind of want to take archery. Those were awesome posts.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

now I kind of want to take archery.

That was my reaction, too!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I took archery in high school PE. It was fun.

Then in college my asshole roommate (who was one of the best archers in WI) threatened me with his bow and arrow.

Maybe these three movies will remove that bad association with archery....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got to go to camp one time as a kid. It was computer camp, no surprise. But we did do archery as an elective that week. It was much fun. I don't remember jack shit, except the boys weren't as good as they assumed they were going to be.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So, I would love to learn archery too, but i have an astigmatism that is not 100% corrected, so I always felt like I am poster girl for ARCHERY FAIL.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I haven't shot an arrow in years, but when I took the course in college I was consistently the third best archer behind the guy who bow-hunted for recreation and my shooting partner (who eventually became an optometrist).

I rocked both my quarters of archery class (and yet? still know fuckall, as stated above) but I mostly remember it for being the gym choice with the notorious stoner teacher and no nasty intra-girl politics (because there were no other girls).

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, I am now so excited about both Brave (which I was not anticipating) and am back to excited about Hunger Games, just on the strength of that post!

You should all try archery! It is super fun!

You should all come out to visit me, because my bow is superbly adjustable and I could make it work for all of you and you could all try!

Not that I needed another reason to want to visit Liese, but now I have one!
