See, that's a story I could have gotten into.

Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
So, if I were to see a movie tomorrow, should I make it The Artist, or Chronicle?
Oh man, tough choice. What are you in the mood for?
(I think The Artist should be seen in a theater. I also think Chronicle should be seen in a theater, but I think it will play well at home, whereas The Artist will lose some of its magic. Harder to sit through a silent film on your couch.)
I don't know! I'm planning on hitting the first showing of whichever, so that'll probably determine my mood for the rest of the day, if that helps.
Eta: ok, that's a pretty strong argument for The Artist. And, upon further investigation, Chronicle will still be playing next week while The Artist will not. Decision made. Thanks!

Ha, then definitely The Artist, since it is delightful and will have you smiling the rest of the day.

Rock!
The Artist may be next out of our screener pile, although it's still playing at the Vista the last I checked. If it's still there Friday, I'll try and catch it there.
Definitely worth seeing at the theater if you get the chance!
I think Chronicle is one of those movies too, as there are some subtle things that will be lost if viewed on a TV screen at home rather than a big screen. But missing out on it wouldn't be a tragedy like it would for The Artist.
My mind is blown.
That's not the Christian Bale Batman, is it? It's hard to tell at an angle.
