"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cobie Smulders, Avenger: [link] I don't quite see Wonder Woman in her, though.

How about now?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nope.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

(as in, the Spider-Man series helped awareness of Spidey for the average Jane)

Also, Spider-Man has always had a daily newspaper strip.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Birdie sources tell me that the parrot in the Hobbit videoblog is a Kea - the only Alpine parrot.

Also the only carnivorous parrot.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I finally saw Hugo today at our local second run theater. What an amazing film! I think it may end up being one of my first blu-ray purchases when we finally get our player hooked up.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Just got back from seeing The Artist with my mom. Soooo good, it earned every Oscar it won.I am amazed at how well Jean Dujardin was able to win the audience's sympathy with facial expressions and body language.

Matt, ITA we saw it last night and loved it. It was charming and sweet. I'm glad it won Best Picture because I would not have been able to convince my husband to see it otherwise. I have to say that Uggie is quite the actor too.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Finally watching Winter's Bone.

Oh. My. G-d. This movie is insanely good. Jennifer Lawrence is blowing me away, as is John Hawkes. Hawkes is blindingly good. The best I've ever seen him. And he's almost impossible to see under the character.
