GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

The gf wasn't feeling well, so we cancelled the babysitter and had chinese takeout and watched Tangled on the couch for our date night.

We enjoyed it muchly (and I was surprised to find out Zachary Levi can sing and they didn't pull in a stunt voice for the musical numbers) though I wouldn't necessarily place it with the Disney classics.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Finally caught the Fright Night remake. Awesome. Tennant was awesome as ever, and he even finds occasion to do his Doctor chomp.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Talking about how they'll handle things in the Hunger Games - for the dress, makeup, etc., wouldn't it work if we saw Katniss after her makeover from the outside, looking nice and then, she looks in a mirror, and we see it from her POV - overdone and not at all her. Then for the violence, have a kick-ass action scene and then, from Katniss's viewpoint, see the horror of children killing each other.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

There's a scene early in the run of BtVS that indicates that Joss was a fan of The Long Good Friday.

I'm totally spacing on what that might be.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The Dark Knight Rises/The Prestige mash-up trailer. Very cool and clever.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm totally spacing on what that might be.

The scene in Long Good Friday where everybody is strung up by their ankles in a meat locker? BtVS does that - I think it's even in the opening credits one season. I can't remember the episode.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

P-C,

I just tweeted that. I saw it on io9.

The youtuber who did that has serious skills - narratively and visually.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Judi Dench is going blind.
