I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

Can one have a billysquee over a jillifont?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Can one have a billysquee over a jillifont?

Hee. Almost certainly. Incidentally, I do have a fear reaction where spiders are concerned, but they're still incredible creatures. Snakes, on the other hand - zero fear, not even for the hissing tiger snake we almost stepped on. (Bec, OTOH, was seriously phobic about them, and was rather more demonstrative about the tiger snake encounter.) On which note, that's a lovely boa, JZ. That's actually the main point of distinction I think of between pythons and boas, that pythons are oviparous and boas ovoviviparous.

Can one have a billysquee over a jillifont?

I know people who have.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is great if you've seen the original Wicker Man. (I haven't seen the remake, so dunno how this fits with that.)

A Muppet Wicker Man

Oh… um.

Wow. Yeah. So… this exists:

That’s the video preview for a full-length comic book mashup of The Muppet Show and The Wicker Man by Paul O’Connell.

It’s… uh…

Well, words seem to be failing at the moment.

Really, what can one say when confronted with something like this, except:

(Followed by a few awesome panels of the comic.)

Although maybe I just have a sick sense of humor.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The Amazing Spider-Man trailer! Okay, now I'm looking forward to this one.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I was unimpressed with the trailer, aside from the crashing antenna-thingie at the end. It didn't seem like we were going to see anything Raimi didn't do, at which point, why bother?

But I've been kind of a negative nabob about a lot of things lately, so take that for what it's worth and go buy a cup of coffee with it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It didn't get my heart rate or my juices going. Not making it into my "opens this weekend!1!!" calendar, although I will probably see it in theatres, because I do.

No themed T-shirt, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

at which point, why bother?

To make hundreds of millions of dollars?

Hey. New board.

I think it looks good. I could go for an edgier Peter Parker.

Spider-Man is not and never has been high on my list of favorite comic dudes, but I like Garfield and Stone. My interest is piqued. Which doesn't mean I'll see it - babies make movies less easy, it turns out.

I think that's my thing--I'm waiting for a sincere but not stupid incredibly flippant Spidey. This guy, so far to me, looks grumpily sarcastic.
