Again, beautiful to look at, oh G-d I hated the plot and dialog. Except for the flashback where she woke up from the nightmare and asked her father if she was mad. That was adorable.

I'm with Jilli. I really did not like the movie at all. And, I felt that there was not enough Depp (besides the dancing).
I also was kind of angry at the ending of the film. I don't like tacked on feminism.
As you can probably tell, I was heartbrokenly disappointed in the movie. One of my favorite books plus my favorite director? It should have been perfect for me! I honestly felt betrayed by it.
