Shit's all sorts of different now.

Me too, ita. We just saw CA last weekend. I really liked it.

I think Avengers is the movie I'm most looking forward to, even over DKR. Mostly because DKR looks like it's going to be nothing but grim (why it doesn't bother me on the page but bothers me onscreen is a mystery), and Avengers looks like it is going to be fun with a side of booyah.

Because books.

I'm looking forward to The Avengers, because it's Joss (and RDJ and the Thor guy and Chris Evans), but I'm more excited for Cabin in the Woods because it looks completely fucked up in an excellent Joss way.

Also! I was just at the bookstore, and they have a big box of posters for $2 or under in one corner. I was looking for stuff Sara might like for her room, and instead found a never-opened poster with April 6, 2007 (my birthday! so, cool) visible along the bottom edge. Turned it over, and the sticker on one end said "Grindhouse". So I bought it and opened it up, and it's the one with Rose Byrne! Whee!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

1. The Hobbit 2. The Dark Knight Verbs 3. The Avengers 4+. All other movies of the year, pretty much. Those listed are the ones that make me pee my panties. Jackson, Nolan, Whedon. All are my masters now.

The Woman in Black, Dark Shadows, The Dark Knight Verbs (which is what I'm going to be calling it from now on!), The Hobbit ... I can't really figure out which one I'm most excited for. Right now, probably The Woman In Black, but that's because I'm on a Victorianish horror binge right now.

I like this. I approve.

I need to re-read Knightfall.

Speaking of my Victorianish horror movie binge, watching From Hell always makes me want absinthe. And opium, but I'm not going to dabble in that.

Oh, The Woman in Black! Absolutely psyched for that. And Dark Shadows, too, but I'm a little more leery about it simply because I was disappointed with Alice.

You and I are as one with this. But ... Tim Burton AND vampires? I am compelled to go.

I am compelled to go simply because it's DARK SHADOWS! I still remember watching it after school, up in my mom's room.

I totally want to do absinthe just the way Johnny Depp does in From Hell. In a bathtub like that.
