I love NML too! Not a huge fan of Knightfall, BUT most of my issues were because Azrael is a giant douche, and as far as I know, he's not in the movie, so good times.

Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Azrael is a giant douche
Ahahaha. He SO is. Plus his backstory is so weird. I mean, it's far from the weirdest comic-book backstory, but it's still just weird.
After watching the DKR trailer with Tim and commenting on "Bruce Wayne is the 1%," that devolved into a series of jokes that started with "Occupy Wayne Manor" and ended with "Occupy Bruce Wayne's PANTS!"
Which is now what I'm going to think of the movie as: The Dark Knight Rises: Occupy Bruce Wayne's PANTS.
And given that Selina appears to be on Team Occupy (Bruce Wayne's PANTS), I think she'll get the Dark Knight to rise.
Well done, P-C. Well done.

I saw the trailer finally. WOWOWOWOWOWOW
I am so excited for the movie. Bane's dialogue sounds "okay" on the trailer version I heard (ipad), but if he talks a lot in the movie, they will need to fix it. It is an anomaly versus the other characters.
Is this the first time a Batman full trailer does not have Batman in suit speaking?
Did you show him this video?
I love that vid. The big fight scene is the funniest thing evar.
I kinda think the issues with Bane are 80% just Hardy's voice. The mask does muffle him, and you can't see his lips, which contributes as well. But I watched some clips of him from other things last night; and when he lowers his voice he gets into a Vin Diesel rumble-rumble thing. After a few minutes I adjust; short clips are probably not the best way to tell if it's a problem.
I also caught a bad copy of the prologue last night (it's already gone). I did miss a couple of his lines, but between the thing happening, and the other thing happening, and the variety of accents, almost everyone's hard to understand. But... dialogue is not really the focus of that sequence.
