Also, after doing my due diligent research I'm realizing that Dan Curtis is The Man when it comes to TV horror. Certainly up there with Rod Serling and Richard Matheson.
He created Dark Shadows, and Night Stalker and Trilogy of Terror (Karen Black v. Zuni doll). He also did the ABC TV movie versions of "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde" and the Jack Palance Dracula (which is playing on the screens at the goth club in "Lie to Me").
I think I would put "Passion" or "innocence" of my list of scary Buffy eps.
"Normal Again" would also be on my list, but that might reflect my own issues.

Right! I tend to think of them as emotionally wrecking but they are certainly horrifying too. Angel's at his most sinister.
What about scariest Angel episodes?
anything involving Jasmine?
I kid I kid.
Supernatural: "The Benders," "No Rest for the Wicked," or "Family Remains" or something else for the scariest episode.
"Family Remains" was scary as shit. I watched that alone in the dark. Bad idea.
"Underneath", "Reunion", "Sleep Tight"
"Reunion"
Dru, Darla, shopping and a wine cellar full of lawyers.
There are episodes of Angel & Buffy that have scary scenes. I don't think there are any that I'd put in a list of scary TV shows. For Angel, I suppose "Hell Bound" is probably the creepiest. But then it completely falls apart in the last act.
Incidentally, Strega, how do you feel about Assignment 6 for Sapphire and Steel? (That's the last series at the abandoned gas station.)
