C'mon, Mr. Burton! Don't make this one a mess, like you did with Alice. I still have faith in you!
Oh! I've now watched
Alice.
I did like the Mad Hatter's occasional transformation from foppish Eton whimsy into a menacing Scottish brogue. It could've done with more of that. (Could've done with more menace, period.)
Supercute on-set outtake of Ron and Herimione's first kiss in Deathly Hallows II.
the kiss between Hermione and Ron is one of those moments that will go down in Hollywood history
Is Hollywood short on kisses? Because I will help them catchup. I don't remember it being much of a muchness.
Yeah, I didn't think it was a Hollywood History type kiss. When they throw together a kiss-montage at the Oscars I'm not sure it'd make the cut of the top 300.
I think it was just long-anticipated, really. It certainly wasn't a Gosling kiss.
Saw Moneyball. Am a happy camper. But I'd be interested in how a non-A's-biased viewer sees the movie. One of the focuses of the movie was the A's 20 game streak in 2002. I was at every home game of that streak.
Anyone seen Warrior yet? I might try and find that this weekend.
Suzi, I was asking S. about
Moneyball,
since I didn't know the story, and when he told me it was about the A's, I knew you'd be there. I'd like to see it, too. What he accomplished is fascinating.
I'd love to hear your opinion of it. I read the book and I remember that season with startling clarity. Certain scenes brought back the viseral feeling I felt when the events actually happened.
Beau is an A's fan, so I told him I would go to the movie with him if it was decent. I don't really like baseball movies except Bull Durham.
