The Jesse/Le Nub exchange just made me whoop with laughter in my office.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I loves me some Fillion and Barrowman for sure but after reading that article I'd really like to see Christian Campbell get the part.
I had never heard of him before, but he's certainly cute.
I hesistate to recommend Reefer Madness: The Musical. I love it, but I keep getting blank looks from people I thought would love it too.

I made my theatre students watch it, and they loved it too!
Yay! Now if only I can get David Tennant to dress up as a satyr I'll complete my collection of Handsome Scottish Actors with Cloven Hooves. (see also: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe)
I loved it as well. "Mary Jane/Mary Lane" really reminded me of some of the songs from "Once More, With Feeling."
I think the Mary Sue writer is way off in maintaining that the events at the beginning of Evil Dead 2 are separate and subsequent to the first movie. That whole segment was clearly a retelling IMHO.
Yeah, the first fifteen minutes of Evil Dead 2 basically retcon Evil Dead. It doesn't make any sense for it to be a "return" to the cabin, especially since it deliberately goes up to the very end of the first movie and picks up right there.
Oh good. I thought I has misremembered Evil Dead 2.
