I saw Fright Night this afternoon. Hugely fun. Farrel and Tennant both seemed to be enjoying the hell out of their roles.

Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I was debating between Fright Night and rewatching HP7:2, and decided on the latter since it'll be gone from the theatre soon. I can go see Fright Night next weekend, and probably will.
Fright Night drove home to me in a way that Dr. Who never did that Tennant is almost freakishly thin. I don't mean emaciated, he looked healthy enough, but just narrow bone structure that I wouldn't expect to see in a post-adolescent.
Badass.
(And nice use of Rue's mockingjay tune at the end!)
It looks so much like the fan trailers! The mockinjay theme reminds me of the 'hoist the colors' song from Pirates.
I didn't know even an Oldboy remake was being planned.
Yeah, I don't even know why that is happening. I think I heard rumblings about it a while ago but didn't know it had actually gotten so far in the process as to be a real thing that was...just how is that going to work? I am almost morbidly curious to see what Spike Lee would do with that story.
Why does Contagion tell me not to talk to anyone?
