There is no mechanism on his neck. He shoots them from his wrists. That shot in the trailer is not "shooting spider silk."

That is what I would assume. It looks to be part of the transformation or whatever. He's pulling it out, not shooting anything. I don't really know what it's about, but I would not make a leap based on that one shot that Peter is going to have spider silk coming out of every orifice. He's not Mohinder.

imo if your Peter can build mechanical shooters you have no reason to show organic silk coming out of anywhere.
