I honestly can't decide if Ginny Weasley was miscast or written badly in the movies
Both, I think. Actually, miscast is the wrong word because she was fine in Chamber of Secrets, but didnt adapt well to the changes Ginny went through as she got older. The whole Ginny thing is the only thing I am truly disappointed about inthe movies - in general I think they are really great.
Today I went into
Horrible Bosses
with moderate expectations, but it was a lot funnier than I thought it would be. Nice escapist entertainment.
I finally saw X-men: First Class!
Loved, loved, loved it! The soundtrack was great, the cameos were too much fun and the chemistry between McEvoy and Fassbender was ridiculous!
Just back from HP7.2 - a HUGE improvement over 7.1, not surprising since this is the part in the book where Stuff Finally Happens. I actually found myself choked up at several points.
(And the whole We Now Interrupt This Exciting Battle To Bring You Several Long Pages Of Confusing Wand Lore? Condensed into about 4 lines. BRILLIANT.)

Cool. Go Steve Kloves.

Joins David.
This is the copy on a movie poster:
All the world will be your enemy,
Prince with a Thousand Enemies
and when they catch you they will kill you...
But first they must catch you.
Name that movie!
Correct!
(You can download it from that link if you want to bother going through nine files.)

::loves:: I really hate the way the incredible forward momentum of those last ten chapters just slams to a halt while we get Snapes Memories of Woe and then Dumbledore's Long Treatise on Wands and Destiny.
Also, any mention of the Prince with a Thousand Enemies is a total giveaway for Watership Down.
