For those of you intending to skip Cars 2, and looking forward to the next Pixar offering, perhaps you've been thinking, "Hey, when are they going to get around to a lead female character..."
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
And she's Scottish! FAQWife might even want to see this one!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
I cannot wait.
Pixar has obviously been abducting me and extracting my fondest desires straight out of my brain.
I'll be first in line for Brave. For sure.
Oooh, that gave me chills! I haven't wanted to see an animated movie in a long time, but that looks awesome!
The three leads all play off each other really well, and the screwball/farce elements are occasionally brilliant, but...wow, that was a lot of rape jokes.
That's too bad. I was kind of looking forward to it.
Wait just a dang minute here.
Brave appears to feature not only a female main character, but one who is to all appearances a HUMAN.
It's like I don't even know Pixar anymore.
I saw XM:FC. Loved the Eric/Charles, hated the racial stuff, and dear god January Jones just. stop.

I'm going to personally take credit for this because I pestered a Pixar higher up about this for four years. It's pretty much all me. Also, I storyboarded the opening to Up on the back of a Denny's menu, and just gave away Renderman because I didn't have time to fuss with it anymore.
All that and making up asspull too? Where do you find time for hookers and blow?
