Because books.

Chris Evans as Jensen in The Losers is one of my favorite things ever. Ever.

I guess some people really don't like Tree of Life, huh?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But see, he was a wiseass more than once, so he can obviously do nothing else. No one has ever done comedy and not comedy. Also, there's no way he can bulk up enough to play a superhero, and me predicting future behaviour based on just some of his past performance is perfectly cromulent.

Compassionately intolerant

WATCH SUNSHINE AND STOP YER BITCHING.

Seriously.

What's funny is, this is exactly what I said out loud to the screen when I read the people are down on CE thing. (except, I didn't say bitching or seriously, but you get my meaning)

He's got depth, people!

He's typecast a lot, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have something going on. Sheesh.

Oh, this Chris Evans guy was Jensen in The Losers? He was okay in that. Fun character.

I think he's massively charismatic, and can sweep me off my feet any time he wants. He also played serious guy with responsibility quite adeptly in Sunshine, but all anyone remembers is Johnny Storm.

Oh, and apparently he's short.

Because books.

HE'S TALL ENOUGH FOR ME.

I guess I should put Sunshine in the queue, huh? I have no idea what it's about.

I watched The Losers for JDM, and I was surprised to realize I really loved Chris Evans as Jensen even more than JDM as Clay.

Idris Elba hurt me, though. So beautiful. Don't be a bad guy!

OMG, I had such a good time reading Jensen/Cougar after that movie! The pairing totally snuck up on me, but it was a fun time. The movie in general was a fun time. Nice, light, explosive, with fun badassery.

Sunshine is 2/3 a pretty good movie, and then it goes off the rails. It's got a great cast (Chris Evans, Michelle Yeoh, Cillian Murphy, etc), but doesn't end up holding up, which is a shame. It's a sci fi mission to save the world.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

No one has ever done comedy and not comedy.

Like, as we were just discussing in Natter, Garrett Dillahunt.

I have not seen Sunshine, either.

And that's why I love him on Raising Hope! He plays a great psychopath, but I adore this side of him.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Idris Elba started out as a bad guy(In America, at least) Although Stringer does have an idealistic streak...he's not all bad. Can't comment on The Losers though...it bugged me somehow and I didn't finish watching it.
