I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In the first X-Men movie, they used Casa Loma for the interiors and stable shots. In the second and third they used Hatley Castle for the exteriors.

Aha, that makes sense.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I saw Company last night. It was quite good. There were a couple of casting issues I had (Marta, Paul, and I just generally don't like Patti LuPone), but Neil Patrick Harris (and I say this as someone who is not usually overly enamored of his singing) was spot-on as Robert. It was very enjoyable, and the theatre crowd I saw it with seemed to enjoy it, as well.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

You didn't like Anika Noni Rose?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

How was Martha Plimpton?

I was wtching some of the cast numbers from the Tony's on YT and I was surprised to see her. I barely recognized ... Yosafbridge. Christina Hicks. I Company might be a musical I'd really like.

Then again. I like them all, mostly.

Hey. New board.

I'm worried about NPH Bobby because I loved loved loved loved Raul Esparza's Bobby in the most recent Broadway Revival (PBS recorded it for Great Performances and it is available on Netflix, sometimes the instant queue though not now - I recommend that for any musical theater fans). And I, too, dislike Patti Lupone most of the time. But I've got tickets for Sunday anyway.

Gris, whitefonted in case you don't want to be spoiled for acting choices:

I thought NPH's Bobby was very different from Raul Esparza's. Much more gentle, less cynical, less edge. More warmly affectionate with his friends.
