Best interactive movie experience: dark theatre, lots of geeks, black screen, Scully's voice: "Mulder?" Shriek of joy.
(I liked the X-Files movies, I love seeing Moose and Squirrel in action. Nyah.)
The
Cowboys and Aliens
preview got a good reaction, too. I may have to make sure I see that in a theatre with a good sound system, and not wait for the dollar movie.
Does anyone know where the Stately Xavier Manor scenes in X-Men: First Class were filmed? It doesn't seem to be the same place as the school for gifted children in earlier X-Men movies (filmed at Hatley Castle, in BC). The current movie's location seems more tower-y, with fewer slanted roofs. I suppose it could be someone's dream mansion green-screened in.
Darnit--I was going to see Company tonight, but I have too much school work to do. It's playing on Sunday, but I'm going to be spending the day with my dad. Tuesday night it's at far fewer theatres, but I can drive a bit and go see it anyway.

Wait, I thought they were filmed at Casa Loma in TO? [link]
I'm taking CJ to see Company on Sunday. My high school performed Company my sophomore year and I was part of the stage crew - set building and lighting.
I enjoyed it a lot. The book is dated, but some of the scenes still work well and the actors sell the rest. And the score still KILLS. NPH is awesome.
I thought the book was impressively not dated, considering.
Spoiler regarding an actor who I believe filmed a scene in The Dark Knight Rises. There are not plot points associated with this information, but AV Club speculation.
The whole thing made my mouth fly open because I hadn't heard any of these rumors until now. There is a healthy spoiler warning on the page before you get to the info in case you have second thoughts.
