I'm not even looking at reviews. I know I am going to go see it, and the shallow part of my brain will be all ::clappyhands:: at Johnny Depp and Geoffry Rush being pirates again. The shallow part of my brain is really, really easy to please.
The shallow part of my brain is remarkably similar to the shallow part of Jilli's brain.
I'm waiting for Cowboys and Aliens. That better not suck.
I just want to be entertained. I am not expected a lot expect 2 hours of entertainment.
That better not suck.
I suspect even if it does, I'll go see it anyway: it's got Indiana Jones and James Bond, with horses and six-shooters. And aliens! The only thing it's missing is maybe zombies.
Eh, I can live without car chases. Too much collateral damage--it's one reason I walked out of Batman Begins quite disgruntled, and haven't seen any of the others.
oh, I LOVE car chases. I've seen a whole lot of bad movies on the promise there are good car chases.
I've been known to just fast forward through The Blues Brothers to see the car chase.
Cowboys and Aliens had me at Daniel Craig as a cowboy with some bit of high tech on his arm.
And then they threw Harrison Ford on a horse, and I went "Oh my god, he's doing another western! But with space ships!"
Such utter glee.
Folks who love car chases have to check out
Bullit,
if they haven't already. Car chases old school (through San Francisco at the beginning).
Weren't the actors doing a lot of the actual driving in that?
