"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Man, I so want JGL for Cinna. But it probably won't happen, he's filming some Lincoln movie after he's done with the latest Batman. Phooey.

Who knows. Maybe he can borrow Natalie Portman's Time Turner since it looks like she's going to be in every movie this year. They did work together on Hesher, after all.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I've been picturing Željko Ivanek as Snow since I read the books. He's got that chilly, cadaveric cast to his face and he can do quiet menace very well: [link]

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I keep picturing Alan Cumming as Snow.

That would work for me.

Yes! Exactly.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Maybe I'm drunk, but I'm a half hour into the Mechanic (with Statham and Frost) and damn, I may be mistaken, but that's one of the more interesting premises I've seen in awhile. Maybe the movie will disappoint, but the idea that a guy forced to kill his mentor seeks redemption in redeeming his mentor's disappointing son . . . I like. It's a different sort of atonement. Not "ooh, I feel so guilty for killing the wrong guy" or that the victim was innocent, or that that the father/son dynamic was just misunderstanding and the were both really great people. They're all shady. I just, I like that idea of atonement with the son. "You had to die, it was just, but I'll fix that one failing in your life, because I liked you."

I'll leave my little fantasy world and watch the damned movie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

First pic of Hardy as Bane? Apparently there was quite a breadcrumb path of viral marketing to follow to get there. Thank dog for other geeks.
