It was his character's turning moment in Alias. He'd been the guy who knew less than the audience, and was kind of a doof. Then he gets captured by a baddy, and he's been tortured, and he's being injected with this stuff that has a one in five chance of killing him. He manages to get free, and turns the tables on his captors and injects him with the solution, yelling "ONE IN FIVE, BITCH! ONE IN FIVE!"
And from then on he was with the program, and Will Tippen was cool.
I guess I've revealed I didn't watch Alias.
He's been in way more stuff than I thought.
ISTG it was "One in five, you little bitch, one in five!" It scans better.
I think I need to watch
Alias.
he was always my favorite on Alias. i was a Syd/Will shipper.
Truly one of the great moments in that show's run.
My roommate watched Alias, so I only saw it in passing, but that line really stuck with me, even if I didn't remember which show it was from.
I think I first saw him on Jack and Bobby.
Either Alias or Wet Hot American Summer was the first thing I saw him in.
He didn't catch my attention in Alias, but he sure did in Kitchen Confidential.
