I know Hemsworth as the guy from that awful Miley Cyrus movie that looked like a year-later remake of that awful Channing Tatum movie. Which does not fill me to overflowing with confidence in his acting ability.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Okay, what's weird is that I thought they were cast the other way round. Now I'm not as at peace with it.
-t, I'll be interested to hear your reactions to Mockingjay.
Re: The Hunger Games, I don't know enough about either of them to be bothered, and physically they don't look too far off the mark. Although I did imagine Peeta as blonder and Gale as dark-haired.
or at least Peeta as light brown. isn't he supposed to be kind of beefy though?
Peeta's supposed to be blond and a bit beefier than Gale. Gale is supposed to be dark-haired, olive-skinned, and grey-eyed like Kat.
Does anyone know anything about Dylan Dog? Brandon Routh has irritated me in just about everything I've seen, but he was kinda amusing in the trailer I just saw.
Does anyone know anything about Dylan Dog?
Based on one the most popular Italian comic books of all time. Sort of a dark, adventure comic. The main character fights a lot of supernatural monsters, ala Buffy. The cult Rupert Graves movie, Cemetary Man, was actually based on a Dylan Dog comic.
I don't know anything about the actual production.
Oh, and I loved Brandon Routh in Scott Pilgrim.
The hand gesture for: "She wipes" was perfect.

Oh my god, yes.
